Silicone Rubber Hot Stamping Dies

We are proud to offer a proprietary line of silicone rubber compounds that are designed specifically for producing sharp, high quality impressions on plastic products, regardless of part inconsistencies, or application speeds. We use only the highest quality Silicone Rubber compounds available in the North American marketplace to produce our Silicone Rubber Dies, giving you the thermal stability, resilience, thermal conductivity, and toughness required for the demands of today’s plastics industry requirements.

Silicone Rubber Dies are manufactured with ½” of additional floor space all around the print area, however, dies can be cut to your specifications, machined to meet your requirements, and can also be supplied with various sized drill holes included to match existing hole patterns on customers equipment.

Silicone Rubber Hot Stamping Rollers

Our Silicone Rubber Roller Recovering division uses the same high quality Silicone Rubber Compounds as used in our Silicone Rubber Die Making Department, however, compounds used in the re-covering of Rollers are designed specifically for optimum results with roll-on hot stamping applications. We can re-coat your worn out and damaged silicone rollers, or supply you with new metal roller cores coated with rubber, and manufactured to suit your requirements and machine specifications.

Silicone Rubber Rollers are available in various sizes, up to 8 inches in diameter, and up to 24 inches in length. Various shore hardness compounds are available, including dual durometer, soft belly rollers, and any roller may be shaped to match the contour of your parts or moldings.

Silicone Rubber Hot Stamping Sheet Stock

Silicone Rubber Sheet stock is used for “Tipping” processes, or transferring colored hot stamping foil to raised surfaces on plastic products. Flat Silicone Rubber Sheet stock is available in a wide variety of rubber and metal thicknesses, custom made to your specifications, and in a variety of rubber hardnesses. Overall sheet sizes available are 12” x 12”, 12” x 24”, and 18” x 24”. Silicone sheets can be cut to specific smaller sizes for a nominal cutting fee.

Silicone rubber sheets are available with smooth rubber on the print surface, and also with textured patterns in the rubber to prevent air entrapment when printing large surfaces. Dual durometer, and soft belly sheet stock is available to help overcome the problems associated with such problems as sink marks, part inconsistencies, or variations in part dimensions from different mold cavities.

Contoured Silicone Rubber Hot Stamping Dies

Regardless of the shape of your products, we can supply you with contoured silicone rubber dies to give you the high quality impressions required in today’s demanding market place. Two different types of contoured silicone dies are available. The most cost effective being a thin backed flexible rubber die that is shaped to fit within a machined metal die block that is contoured to fit the shape of your product.

The second variety is produced by using a contoured aluminum mold to vulcanize a layer of silicone rubber directly onto an aluminum die block that has been machined to match the contour of your product. These contoured die blocks can be returned to CPI for re-coating once worn out, so by ordering several dies you will never shut down your production while sending worn die blocks for re-covering.
